I just realized that again it has been a year since I last posted. That does not mean that I have not been reading my friends posts because I have. Anyway school finally finishes next week and the week after that I will finally be returning to Canada. I have no idea what I will do once I get back, for all I know I may end up leaving to go somewhere else again. Maybe Asia or the Middle East or New Zealand but I would really like to stay somewhere in Canada.

Anyway I have been very busy and that has had a very negative impact on my television life but while over here I have managed to find a few programs that I love, one of which is The Inbetweeners which is a UK program about these 4 guys at 6th form which is the year before they go to university, it is horribly funny and totally inappropriate. Another is TopGear, a totally funny and interesting show loosely about cars.

I will say that I have bought my ticket to the opening night of Harry Potter and I am really looking forward to it.

I will probably be more able to blog more during the summer once I am home.

So yesterday I got an email saying that a school was interested in an interview...today...at 7 a.m. So I did it...the conversation was over at 7:25 a.m...and I got a call saying I got the job at 8 a.m.

So now I have to get all my ducks in a row so that I can be ready to leave midway through August to begin my journey as a teacher...in England where I will probably be living in Colchester, the oldest town in England.

Yay me!

So I have been silent for a number of months now. This does not mean that I have not been reading my flist but rather that I have really had very little to say. But now the joyous Doctor has returned to me and I can no longer be silent. Ok so instead of doing some of the list of way too many things that I have to do this weekend, I have spent the majority of the day watching episodes of South Park on Youtube...how sad is that?
*shakes head at own ability to procrastinate*

So not really much to say, last week I was up til 2 am trying to get rid of a Trojan on my computer. Damn viruses!!!!
Only one week left of placement then I am home for Christmas, believe me the countdown has begun. I hope the weather stays nice or I may end up getting grounded and the will be the worst thing because I have to work the very next day, ewwww.

For some reason lately I have been on a music downloading kick. In the past few days I downloaded random Christmas music, mostly the classics, Bing Crosby, White Christmas stuff, the Bring It On soundtrack (that may have something to do with it being on tv this weekend,some music from the Donnie Darko soundtrack, the Best of Heart, and The Cure's Join the Dots box set. I was watching the Story of the Cure and I guess my collection of Cure songs was lacking since I didn't have my sister's collection to add, seeing as I am 18 hours away from home.
In other news, placement is going really well, only 2 more weeks left then it is home to work at Peoples Jewellers for Christmas, yay for 70+ hours in 2 weeks. As well I need to be studying for my language arts test and getting my field log book complete.
Anyway, did very little planning this weekend which is not good considering I am teaching almost 100% for the remainder of my time at the school.
Somehow I have managed to stay up on my chosen tv shows, don't ask me how.

Okay so I have been so totally, incredibly, unbelievably busy that I have not had time to post in a very long time....This is only slightly untrue. I have been incredibly busy...I have also been incredibly lazy about doing anything unless it was something that I had to do because the due date was fast approaching.
Let me tell anyone who is listening that Thunder Bay gets fucking cold very fast. Its not that the temperature is that cold but the wind is so harsh that it feels like it is peeling the skin off of your face. At least the heat in my room works...which is more than I can say for many other people on my floor.
Also the squirrels in Thunder Bay have no fear. Its like they purposely wait for cars to be coming before they cross the road just so they can play chicken...to say nothing for the kamikaze deer.
Anyway I have really been enjoying Veronica Mars this season...whenever I have been able to watch it...usually by waking up extra early in the morning before class. The network here is crap so the download speeds are incredibly slow.
I loved that Alan Tudyk was on CSI tonight, even if I didn't like what he was playing.
Funny that I am posting this when I have the busiest week in front of me...the last week of class before I go out on placement. How I ended up with a grade 6 class I will never know. I wanted to be taller than the kids I wanted to teach...not shorter.

So last week I went with my brother to see Pulse. ( Spoilers and thoughts )
In other news, I have seen the new episode of Weeds and anyone who is interested should watch...also pre-airs of the first 4 episodes are available from mininova, and I am sure a number of other sites.

So I haven't posted in a while...not because I have been to busy but that my life has been so ordinary and unmentionable and television just hasen't been exciting enough to comment on ( Until Now )
